I used to live in a city where there were drunks every where you looked, car wrecks, and break-ins. People even sold guns and alchol(poision) to kids ranging from 7-20 illeagelly. I fell away from God so fast then I moved to a neighborhood that was just the same and I fell further away from God. I have a speech impedimentwith the letter R, all the guys at my school made fun of me because of my speech impediment. I thought of comitting suicide.

During church I was called to the alter during alter call and I asked God to send help to keep me from killing myself and he did. I went home that night and just cried myself to sleep. I woke up the next morning and was so happy and I was so glad that I was not dead. I called my pastor at six in the morning and told him thank you for praying for me. Ever since that night I have been persecuted at school day in and day out. I hope that this ministers to someone, because when I said this in front of my church I ended up bringing 25 teenagers to the alter and they all got saved that
night.

Pakistani accepts Jesus Christ:

When I was 14 years old I was studying in a convent school at Saddar Karachi Pakistan. I belong to a Muslim family.My parents forced me to learn the Qur’an by heart when I was seven and so I did. I had a lot of Christian fellows (or acquaintances) at school.

One day during our discussion I challenged them to burn the Holy Books of each other. They should burn the Qur’an and I should do the same with the Bible. We agreed: "The book which would burn, would be false. The book, which would not burn, has the Truth in it. God Himself would save His Word."

First I set the Qur’an on fire and it got burnt before our eyes. Then I tried to do the same with the Bible. As soon as I tried it, the Bible struck my chest and I fell on the ground. There was smoke all around my body. I was burning, but from a spiritual fire.

Then I saw the stone on the grave, which was removed. Mary Magdalene spoke to the gardener who probably took the body of my Lord. The gardener was Jesus Himself. He kissed the hand of Mary and I woke up. I felt very strong as if when someone would strike me, I could not be hurt.

I went to a Church close to my home; I told the Father there all about what happened. I asked him to show me the Bible. He gave me one and I read about the event of Mariam Magdalene and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior on 02-17-85.

Now after 20 years, I have seen many people come to the Lord and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Thanks to the Lord, I am now married and have a Christian family. Me and my wife Khadija are involved in the work of the Lord and able to share the miracles God has been doing in our lives.

I had thoughts of suicide. I had visions of homicide. I wondered what it would be like to commit crimes so disturbing for the simple purpose of my enjoyment.

It was at that point that I knew I needed intervention. I won't deny, God had been knocking before, but, I kept ignoring him. It was as if I had a mental block and intentionally kept him away.

This time I answered. Without God, I was never truly successful in my victories. Everything I ever did, I could not have done without him to help me, even if I didn't give him credit. My battles and eventual victories over cocaine, marijuana, and even cigarettes without treatment were all with God's help.

My relationship with my family and friends and even with myself took a positive turn and more importantly, my love for OUR LORD was ignited with a fire that continues to burn stronger each morning that I wake up. I learned how to communicate with Christ. I realized that He provided so much for me to appreciate. As an added bonus, I met great people and made new friends, Brothers and Sisters, with an incredible desire to build a bond through Him, with Him and in Him...in total Unity.

With all drugs, however, you spend a lifetime trying to reach that first time high. I tried LSD, cocaine, crystal methane and even started combining them. No previous drug can ever compare to the feeling I have. The Spiritual High that I have obtained is Amazing..

I pray that all that read this may surrender yourselves to obtain this gift from Christ.
